I get asked often how I got into this profession. Back in 2007 I got a wonderful job working in an art gallery while I finished up my BFA with an emphasis in ceramics. A year later I was getting married and decided to take on the task of making my own wedding cake. I found the experience exhilarating, and shortly afterwards my passion for 3D art turned into a passion for confectioneries. I love the non-permanence of this art form, and creating beautiful, fun, and exciting cakes that taste as good as they look is a pleasure. With fresh ingredients and custom designs, I get to bring joy and smiles to the faces of others which is the best reward. Everyone should have a story about a cake that has meant something in their lives, and I aspire to create that cake for you that you just won't forget.
